PPE Kits Purchased by The Indian Government

The Indian Government has taken several initiatives to contain COVID-19. Since COVID-19 can spread from one to another, Doctors from hospitals, Front line workers, Government Officials and the People need PPE kits to protect themselves. The Indian Government has allocated a significant amount of money to purchase PPE Kits. These PPE kits are purchased through a tendering process. Some of the top states to procure PPE kits are as follows, Among the various states in India Uttar Pradesh ranks top in purchasing PPE kits amounting 20.69% of all the tenders. Followed by Karnataka (13.79%) and Maharashtra (10.34%). This analysis was done based on live tenders published on 12th January 2022, 29 PPE Kits live tenders were there on that day. Uttar Pradesh (20.69%)

Karnataka (13.79%)

Maharashtra (10.34%)

Odisha (10.34%)

Gujarat (6.90%).
